The Picture of the Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro from the habana’s malecon. 
This fortify was building in the XVI century, which functions was the protection of the Village San Cristobal de La Habana against the attack from corsarios and pirates, because the magnitude and location in the Habana, in the actually it’s one of the icons more representative of the City of Havana and Cuba. It’s one of the principal touristic points where the views of the city are the attraction of more than a thousand people from all the world.

Latin American Film Festival

On December 3, 1979, the Festival of New Latin American Cinema was inaugurated. Alfredo Guevara, Julio Garcia Espinosa and Pastor Vega conceived the Festival as a continuation of the festivals of Viña del Mar (1967 and 1969), Mérida (1968 and 1977) and Caracas (1974), in which films and filmmakers representing the most refreshing film trends in Latin America. It was a response to the need for a meeting of Latin American filmmakers.

The Street at prado between Neptuno y Rafael became very famous during the XVII century, because there gather revolutionary young men. Due to these patriotic meetings started calling these people as “los jóvenes de La Acera del Louvre”.

Since colonial times this hotel has been hosting universal figures from history to the arts. Antonio Maceo, Cuban independence activist was installed almost six months; as correspondent of the Daily Graphic Sir Winston Churchill who recounts the details of the war of 1895 in Cuba. During the First World War the hotel is favored by the growing North American tourism and shortly after, during the Prohibition, many settle down to satisfy themselves.

Located in Paseo del Prado corner San Rafael, in 1844 was a two-story building known as Café and Escauriza Hall. Purchased in 1863 Don Joaquin Payret, who recognized it as Le Louvre, which would give rise to the so-called Acera del Louvre, whose extension reached San Miguel street. This street witnessed several pro-independence demonstrations. In 1886, Don Francisco Villamil rented the Hotel, which was already unified, and added the third floor. The Havana Hotels Hotel had emerged, comparable with the best in the world.
